Face packs to deal with dry skin!

In the last post, I have talked about winter and dry lips; in this post it is winter and dry face. Here are few face packs you can use for dealing with dry skin.

1) Banana-honey pack

* ½ Banana
* 1 tbsp. honey
* 1 tsp. glycerin (optional)

Run banana in a mixer to get smooth paste. Now add honey and glycerin and mix them well. Apply this pack on a clean face and rinse off with lukewarm water after 15-20 minutes and then apply moisturizer.

2) Oat-milk-honey pack

* 2 tbsp. crushed oat (you can crush a good amount in mixer and store it in a container)
* 2 tbsp. milk or milk cream
* 1 tbsp. honey

Mix all the ingredients well and let it sit for 2 minutes. Now apply it on the face and keep it on for around 15 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water and apply moisturizer (you don’t need to dry your face totally before applying moisturizer because wet face helps in sealing and absorbing the moisturizer well).

3) Sandalwood-rosewater-glycerin

* 1 tbsp. sandalwood
* 1 ½ tbsp. rose water
* 1 tsp. glycerin

Mix all the ingredients well and then use it as mentioned in the above packs.

To get better results:

a) Don’t forget to exfoliate your face once a week. It helps to get rid of dead skin cells and makes your skin softer. If possible, do scrub before using these face packs.
b) Every morning after cleaning your face, massage almond oil or olive oil on your face for 1-2 minutes and then apply moisturizer over it.
