Creamy Paneer Curry
Green chilli-1 pc
Coriander powder-1 tbsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder-1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Cashew nut-1 tbsp
Kasuri methi-1/2 tsp
-> Make a paste of onion, garlic and green chilli.
-> Dry roast kasuri methi and make its powder.
-> Boil tomato in water till soft, peel off the skin and make its puree.
-> Soak cashew nut in lukewarm water for 15-20 minutes and then make its paste
-> Cut paneer into cubes and soak it in lukewarm water to make it soft.
-> Heat up oil in a wok and then add cumin seeds in it.
-> Now add the onion-garlic-chilli paste. Fry for sometime (till the raw smell fades).
-> Add the dry spices (coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder). Fry for sometime.
-> Now add salt and tomato puree in it. Cook till it leaves oil.
-> Add cashew nut paste and cook for approx. 2 minutes.
-> Add kasur methi and cook it for a minute or two.
-> Switch off the stove.
Garnish it with cream and serve it with roti, paratha or naan! 🙂
