Healthy breakfast option-Cabbage Pancake!


A quick and healthy breakfast 🙂


Cabbage-3/4 cup (finely chopped)
Onion-1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Besan (gram flour)-1 ½ cup
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Black pepper-a pinch
Green chilli paste-1/2 tsp (or according to your liking)
Salt-to taste
Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)-1 tsp (dry roasted and powdered)
Coriander leaves-1 tsp (finely chopped)
Oil-1-2 tsp


-> Mix all the ingredients (except oil) in a bowl.
-> Add water to make the consistency required for making pancakes.
-> Keep it aside for about 5 minutes.
-> Now heat oil in a pan (oil shouldn’t be too hot else the mixture will stick to the pan) and spread 2 tbsp of the mixture on it.
-> Add little oil around its edges and on the top of it.
-> Once one side is cooked properly, flip it and cook well on the other side too.

Take it out and serve hot with chatni, sauce or curd! 🙂
